A Night of Inspiration, Literature, Haitian Cocktails, and Ethical Fashion Benefiting CORE and REBUILD globally
WHO: Julie Colombino-Billingham, founder and CEO of Deux Mains, a sustainable leather goods brand, will host an intimate Book Launch Party celebrating her book release, ‘From Loss to Legacy.’ Colombino-Billingham, known for her humanitarian work in Haiti, will share an excerpt reading and host an evening of community, culture, and giving. Guests will enjoy Haitian-inspired cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and the opportunity to shop the Deux Mains boutique collection.
WHAT: The Book Launch Party is a celebration of purpose-driven entrepreneurship and the transformative power of ethical fashion. Guests can browse the Deux Mains handcrafted collection, made sustainably in Haiti, with 15% of all boutique sales donated to CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), founded by Sean Penn following the 2010 Haiti earthquake, to support Hurricane Melissa recovery in Haiti and Jamaica. In addition, 100% of profits from book sales at the event will be donated to REBUILD globally, the nonprofit organization that provides education and job training programs in Haiti.
